If Word Up was the NBA coaches official magazine, Kurt Rambis would be unsigned hype because dude possess all the good raw material it takes to become a good head coach in the league. But, do the Timberwolves think the same thing?
The word in NBA circles is that Los Angeles Lakers assistant coach Kurt Rambis will be the next Timberwolves coach and Mychal Thompson, the former Gophers star and Lakers teammate of Rambis’ who now is a radio broadcaster for the Lakers, has made a strong recommendation.
If the T-Wolves signed Rambis as their next head coach, at the very least Minnesota fans could at least have something to look forward to. Then again, just being a T-Wolves fan means you’re optimistic about everything anyway.
