Last week, the Blazers sent a league wide warning letter to all NBA clubs stating that any team that signed Darius Miles to a contract, would be sued for doing so.  So like parking a flaming bag of pooh on the doorstep of the Blazers organizations and laughing as Larry Miller tries to stomp it out. The Memphis Grizzlies promptly signed Darius Miles to a 10-day contract Saturday.
As a result, the Blazers will now be on the hook for the $18 million left on the contract owed to Miles and a new front-office rivalry is born.
Well played Memphis!
