All of a sudden Corey Magettte is the prettiest girl at the high school dance.  The latest team looking to court the swingman is the San Antonio Spurs.  My question is, why don’t the Clippers just become apart of the NBDL farm system.  I know Baron Davis is on board but, this club is always hemorrhaging young talent over and over again. Â
Two seasons after the Spurs unsuccessfully tried to trade for Corey Maggette, they appear to be trying to recruit him. According to two NBA sources, one in the Western Conference and one in the East, the Spurs are preparing to make an offer to Maggette, who became an unrestricted free agent Tuesday when he opted out of the final year of his contract with the Los Angeles Clippers.Â
