Nuggets forward Carmelo Anthony said Friday he “probably” will miss at least one game next week because of the birth of his first child.
Anthony’s fiancee, La La Vazquez, is due to give birth to a baby boy Tuesday. The Nuggets play New Orleans/Oklahoma City at home Tuesday, then will fly to California for a Wednesday game at Golden State.
“Oh, yeah, I’m going to be there,” Anthony said of the birth.
Anthony said it hasn’t been determined when or if he will travel to Golden State.
