The Nets’ new 18,000-seat facility designed by the architect Frank Gehry will be called The Barclays Center when it opens in Brooklyn, New York, late this decade.
Opponents of the project assailed Barclays on Thursday for siding with Ratner in the fight.
“Barclays is supporting an abuse of the Constitution,” said Daniel Goldstein, a Brooklyn resident whose condominium is slated to be torn down to make way for the development.
