The Boston Celtics visited the White House and got their presidential props from George Bush aka Kendrick Perkins. This clip is awesome because it’s the last time that this will ever happen…and I don’t mean for the Celtics if you get my drift.

LeBron Raymone James, the 6-8 “small” forward for the Cleveland Cavaliers, has endorsed Barack Obama for president. If by endorsing, you mean donating $20G’s to a committee devoted to electing the freshman Illinois Democratic senator as president on Nov. 4. Presumably James can afford the political donation. Maybe he’ll also throw in a pair of running shoes for Obama to finish the race.

Barack Obama appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night via satellite and he talked some ball and playoffs.  Listen for the “posting up John McCain every chance I get” it’s freakin’ awesome!  It will be nice once the US has a real leader that is human and well…cool.  Who the F bowls anyway?  At least we know if Barack Obama is in the White House and has a bad day, he can just shoot some hoops to burn the stress instead of plotting on the world.

Could Obama be any cooler? At 6:50 he slices through the other team for a bucket and looks cool as shit doing it. Having a guy run the country that is actually a normal guy would be such a welcome change of things. Although there are a bunch of cameras around for this pick up game, the guy is all about the game and not the photo op. This guy is straight mustard!

Democrat Barack Obama announced his bid for president Saturday, and that created an interest in the 2008 election for Cavs forward Ira Newble.

Obama is a black senator from Illinois and the youngest candidate at 45.

“This is the best time in this country for him to run, but I still don’t believe this country is ready for an African-American president,” Newble said. “I don’t think this country is ready for a woman to become president either, but I’m sure Hillary Rodham Clinton is as, if not more, intelligent than many men with power in our government.”
