Andrei Kirilenko Has Retired

After 13 years in the league with the Utah Jazz, Minnesota Timberwolves and Brooklyn Nets. Russian forward Andrei Kirilenko aka AK-47 is officially stepping away from the game.

“I am finishing up my career on court,” Kirilenko said. “I have not said that this is my final decision. However, at the moment — yes, I have retired. I have had enough. I have had a successful career as a basketball player, and the time has come to do something different.”

Kirilenko ends his NBA career with averages of 11.8 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.8 blocks and 1.4 steals.
