The teflon streak that  Wayne Fontes, John Gotti and Rasputin would be proud of has finally came to an end. Zeke has finally been put out to pasture and a new chapter of Knicks basketball has finally begun.

Isiah Thomas has been fired as the head coach of the New York Knicks .

“I just believe a new voice, a new coach, is necessary to change the direction of the team,” said Donnie Walsh.

Thomas is 187-223 as an NBA coach during his tenures in Indiana and New York.

Mark Jackson is the leading candidate to become the Knicks’ new coach.
