Hooped Up

Kings president of basketball operations Geoff Petrie announced Tuesday that the team has requested waivers on little-used forward Maurice Taylor. Taylor, a 10-year veteran in his first season with the Kings, played in just 12 games. He averaged 2.0 points and 2.3 rebounds. He signed a one-year contract just before training camp in October for the league-minimum $1.06 million.
