Ron Artest threw a BBQ for 30 of his lucky Twitter followers at Dockweiler Beach and some dude named Coach Hill was absolutely jazzed to give Artest advice way beyond his normal140 character threshold.  I mean, this guy probably gives dolphins advice on how to swim just to hear himself talk. Ron-Ron seemed so thrill to get advice from a coach on his off day he doesn’t play for. He couldn’t wait to splurt in his Speed Racer inspired ride.

On Twitter, Membership Has It’s Priveleges and Stephanie Fisher and her son Lawrence Shaw found that out the sweet free swag way. For reaching one million followers on Twitter who was Stephanie Fisher, Dwight Howard gave her an all expenses paid trip for two to the Orlando Magic’s home opener versus the Philadelphia 76ers.

How freakin’ cool is that!

Twitter is a juggernaut and it’s become the choice social media tool used by all. It trumps Facebook and Myspace because it’s easy to use, provides you direct access to people and it’s super addictive. Plus, those with multiple personality disorder now finally have somebody to talk to, although nobody will answer back, but on Twitter that’s completely fine and they’re already use to that.

The NBA has been front and center of the twitternology line and every team and nearly every player now has a Twitter account spitting out randomness 24/7 and I love it! With that said, there are five players that do it the best and they have been named to the Hooped Up All-Twitter First Team.

Sadly I am currently iPhone-less, but when I get my hands on one. Giving out my number to thousands of people via YouTube won’t be one of my priorities.

Ron-Ron on the other hand,  is totally cool with it. If you don’t believe me, watch this video closely and you’ll be able to call him after to ask him.

Like it our not, the WNBA is in full effect and not even Moses could stop it.

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t hate the WNBA. I actually have a lot of respect for the league and its players because some of these ladies are sick ballers! It’s just that I’d rather watch an NBA game instead, okay Alice. Speaking of sick lady ballers, Sylvia Fowles is 6′5″ has better hops than Yao Ming and she put them to good use becoming the third WNBA player to dunk in an all star game, following Michelle Snow in 2006 and Lisa Leslie in 2005.That’s pretty frickin’ cool!

Last season, with the Milwaukee Bucks Charlie Villanueva aka @CV31 got in a wittle trouble for sending out a tweet at halftime of a game about picking up his performance, tweeting “In da locker room, snuck to post my twitt. We’re playing the Celtics, tie ball game at da half. Coach wants more toughness. I gotta step up”.

Now that Charlie V is a Piston, in an interview with SI.com he was asked if he’ll be doing the same thing with his new team.

“I haven’t talked to coach (John Kuester) about that,” Villanueva said, laughing. “But (Pistons president) Joe Dumars is all for it. He gave me his blessing.”

If the Pistons are winning, I’m sure Joe Dumars will tell @CV31 tweet from the sidelines, but if the Pistons suck ain’t nobody gettin’ deh tweet on.
