Recently Amar’e Stoudemire took some time out of his busy schedule to help advocate animal rights in collaboration with PETA by shooting two anti-fur ads. In this behind the scenes video, STAT speaks about his love for animals and why he got involved to help make a change.

Other people who have stepped up in or around the NBA for animal rights are Lakers scout Bonnie-Jill Laflin, Ron Artest, and Lamar Odom’s wife Khloe Kardashian.

DeShawn Stevenson seemed like a pretty impulsive dude when a Tattoo Gun is in front or him when I saw his number 2 tattoo, but now it’s official. Stevenson will tattoo damn near anything on his body.

Yesterday, Stevenson showed up for the Wizards media day and dude had some awesome new impulsive Tatts. He had a Frankenstein crack near his hairline, because he doesn’t crack??? A backwards Pittsburgh Pirates “P” on his right cheek, because that’s his favorite team, duh.

And to top it off, he had a picture of Abe Lincoln on his throat. No word on why the 16th President got canvas room on Stevenson’s throat yet, but I believe when he’s ready to talk about it.

It’ll be the truth, because now his throat seems honest.

Your educated guess is as good as mine as to what Kenyon Martin will be doing this summer before the season starts. However, I bet his off season will include getting some more ink done call it a hunch. Actually, I’ll bet the Dirk Nowitzki extension money Andrea Bargnani got last week on it.

In last months issue of Urban Ink Magazine Kenyon Martin and girlfriend Trina who also digs tats posed for the magazine showing off their latest work.

My only complaint here is that this photo shoot needs way more Trina, but lets enjoy what little Trina we get.
