Hooped Up

This year I’ve decided to go bracket-less, but the LA Lakers are all about the March Madness and Melanie Collins got the scoop on who Kobe Bryant, Sasha Vujucic, Pau Gasol, Phil Jackson,  and Lamar Odom picked to win it all.

I’m still watching the tournament, but I’m pretty impartial as to who I want to win at this point. Just as long as Duke doesn’t win – I’ll be happy. Cause boy, I really hate me some Duke.

NBA TV host Melanie Collins is dating some hockey guy that plays for the Philadelphia Flyers and since he ain’t Ron Hextall or somebody kick @ss like that, I really could care less. For the record, the guy’s name is Scottie Upshall but some how I’m sure his name will end up in the same place you store grade 9 math in your brain after High School by tomorrow.

Anyway this dating news, is a capital time for a Melanie Collins picture moment, so here you go.  This is the first time listening or reading about hockey ever paid off.

Andre Aldridge and Rick Kamla are my boys but, adding more Melanie Collins to the NBA TV broadcast is a change I could live with. Collins is the newest member of the NBA TV broadcast team and she is a Penn State communications grad, that began her broadcasting career with the Big Ten Network and was hired less than a year out of college by NBA TV.
