Marko Jaric who has been used by the Grizzlies as much as I’ve used Internet Explorer this year (zilch) is leaving the NBA to play in Spain and he’s taking his hot wife with him too. It’s a sad day for the Memphis chapter of the Adriana Lima stalkers club indeed.

Real Madrid gave its fans an early holiday present on Tuesday when it announced the signing of former Euroleague champion Marko Jaric for the remainder of the season, pending medical tests. Jaric will be reunited with head coach Ettore Messina at the end of a decade that they started by winning the 2001 Euroleague title together with Kinder Bologna.

How awesome is it that moving to beautiful Spain for millions to play a game you’d play for free is a set back.

This season Marko Jaric has been gettin’ no love from the Memphis Grizzlies, averaging 9.7 minutes a game off the bench and he’s having his worst season as a pro — ever! But, he’s probably cool with that for now because who needs court time when you have Adriana Lima time waiting for you at home.

During All-Star weekend, since Jaric was in no danger of being an all-star, he and Lima decided to get secretly hitched on February 14th in Jackson Hole, Wyoming according to People.

Last week Friday, the Grizzlies lost an overtime thriller to the Milwaukee Bucks 101 – 96 and veteran Marko Jaric registered a coaches decision DNP.  On Saturday, he got to watch his fiancé Adriana Lima modeling lingerie in the Victoria Secret show in Miami. Talk about your turn around weekends!

Already living the Knickerbocker lifestyle. Adriana Lima and Marko Jaric hit the town for dinner at Pastis in New York City as guests of Carlos Jereissati, CEO of the IGUATEMI.  With a future wife like that, Marko Jaric probably isn’t thinking about any trade rumors involving him any.

Despite Darko Milicic being 99% sure that a deal between the Knicks and Grizzlies will go down.  One more wrinkle has been added to the deal already on the table.

“Walsh doesn’t appear desperate enough to jump at a deal in which the Grizzlies would take the three years and $48 million left on Randolph’s contract while giving a first-rounder to Memphis. The Grizzlies, according to sources, have agreed to send young 7-1 center Darko Milicic and 6-7 swingmanMarko Jaric to New York. They are playing the waiting game with Walsh, who has made it clear he has no plans to make a knee-jerk decision. In July, Walsh refused to send a first-round pick and Randolph to the Clippers for a second-rounder. ”

Having Adriana Lima in Madison Square Gardens all the time is not a bad thing.  Other than that, this deal seems comme ci, comme ca at best for both squads.

“Another rumor has surfaced that the Memphis Grizzlies are interested in New York Knicks power forward Zach Randolph. The proposed trade would have the Knicks acquiring former first-round pick Darko Milicic and Marko Jaric for Randolph, nicknamed “Zebo.”

These players are being tossed in trade rumors because their roles look to be diminished next season. By acquiring OJ Mayo, Darrell Arthur and Marc Gasol, the Grizzles are looking to build a young, up-tempo team full of athleticism, and both Serbian players should find themselves passed on the depth chart”

 This week the 2008 ESPY awards took place and a bunch of winners won stuff.  The only requirement to win an ESPY is to have won crap prior to getting there that season or last.  Other than that, it’s really a big highlight show with celebrities and red carpet.  Pretty boring stuff.

Not that you had a shot in hell before but, now you really don’t have a prayer with Adriana Lima.  She is now officially off the market.

 Marko Jaric of the Minnesota Timberwolves, proposed to the 27 year old Brazilian supermodel model on her birthday last week after dating for about nine months.  

All of a sudden home games got a little sweeter for Marko Jaric.
