In the Uncle Drew sequel, the “old baller” pays a visit to his pal Bill Russell who convinces him to put his old team back together again. He immediately recruits his old big man partner Wes and the two players hop in Drew’s Cadillac Eldorado for a pick-up game at Jim Gilliam Park in Crenshaw. Shortly after that, lessons were taught to the youngins.

Can the Timberwolves keep pace in the west without Kevin Love and Ricky Rubio? Well we are about to find out., cause today during a practice Love broke his right hand and will miss the next six to eight weeks. Wow.
The Wolves also have to wait six weeks for Rubio who is still recovering from a torn ACL in his left knee. And just like that all those signings to make Minnesota deeper is a brilliant idea.
In a get up straight from a 1950′s softball game. Kevin Love throws out the first pitch at a Minnesota Twins game to Joe Mauer who owns the best side burns in the league. How swell!
Even if they have to plan for six years and they need a lung transplant. Russell Westbrook, James Harden and Kevin Love refuse to get their Foot Locker Approved gear wet. Sweet rubber dinghy yacht guys!
It’s hard to believe, but Tyson Chandler and Kevin Love have known each other since Love was in the sixth grade. I bet you feel old now.
Way back in December of 2000 when hip-hop was still alive. Chandler’s high school (Dominguez) headed north to Portland for the Les Schwab Invitational and tournament organizers selected a group of local kids to serve as ball boys during the five-day, 16-team tournament. They drew out of a hat to determine the team they’d be assigned to for the week. Love, then a 6-foot-1 sixth grader, drew Dominguez.
“I followed Tyson around the whole week,” says Love. “I was this suburban, pudgy white kid thinking one day I could be as good as him.”
Nine years later before Timberwolves rookie Love played against Chandler’s Hornets for the first time. Love walked up to Chandler and asked, “Remember me?” Fast forward to today and the two are now teammates on Team USA one win away from a gold medal. Crazy.
Over the last couple weeks, the Jimmy Kimmel show has been a second home for NBA players and that trend continued with Kevin Love making a guest appearance. The two guys talked about Taco Bell, The Beach Boys, his dad that also played in the NBA and the Olympics amongst other topics. The second part of Jimmy’s interview with Kevin Love is after the jump.
