In an effort to become the favourite team of goth kids everythwere. The Knicks wore all black to symbolize the Celtics funeral in Game 5. Then the Knicks proceeded to lose Game 5. Don’t count on JR Smith taking part in that again.

“Well, we was going to a funeral, but it looks like we got buried,” Smith said. “Basketball is a very humbling game. I’m done with this black stuff”.

After JR Smith wrote down “Get chicks or die trying” on a piece of paper to be submitted to the high school yearbook counsel for his senior year quote. I imagine he dropped the pen, walked out of the class, left the school, smoked a cigarette and got a tattoo. If that situation went down any other way, I’d be pretty disappointed.

Knicks crowd favorite JR Smith edged out Jamal Crawford to win the NBA’s Sixth Man of the Year award.

In his eighth season, Smith posted 18.1 points 5.3 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game off the bench and had 29 games in which he scored at least 20 points as a reserve. Tying him with the Jamal Crawford for the NBA lead.

Smith is the third Knicks player to win the Sixth Man Award, joining John Starks (1996-97) and Anthony Mason (1994-95).

JR Smith blows by two Portland defenders and soars in for the slam. At least that worked for the Knicks last night.

In between watching whatever stuff kids watch these days. I guess this group of pee-wee hoopsters watch enough Knickerbocker games to know that JR Smith will not pass the ball back if time is running down quickly. How wise.
