Since former Utah Jazz star Andrei Kirilenko took his talents to Mother Russia, he’s been having a ball. Playing with CSKA Moscow, AK-47 has been averaging 12.6 points and 2.2 blocks on a team-high 28 minutes a game.
His wife Masha is doing okay too. If you consider her wearing a ghostface mask from the movie Scream during one of her husbands games as okay, according to this picture from the official CSKA Moscow Twitter feed.
Goodtimes — maybe.
AK-47 is still AK-47ing for CSKA Moscow with no immediate plans to re-join the league, but who knows. Maybe by this time next year, Andrei Kirilenko will be back in the league dunking on players we’ve heard of before. No offence Zupan?
Fran Vasquez, meet Micah Downs who will be owning you throughout the night and then throughout eternity on a poster on a kids wall for generations. Okay, thanks.

Before their EuroChallenge game against ZZ Leiden, Besiktas honored departing Deron Williams by allowing him to lead a fan chant and then sending his No. 8 to the rafters in a ceremony at Besiktas Milangaz Arena. Not bad for a guy that only played 15 games in Turkey and had averages of 21.8 points and 6.5 assists during his stay in Istanbul. I wonder if the Nets will do the same if he bolts? Probably not.
