adidas, the official outfitter of the National Basketball Association, today unveiled the new uniform and footwear assortment for the 61st NBA All-Star in Orlando.

The 2012 NBA All-Star uniforms were designed by adidas and inspired by the 20th anniversary of the memorable 1992 NBA All-Star game which was also held in Orlando. Inspired by the Sunshine State and the fun atmosphere of NBA All-Star weekend, adidas NBA All-Star basketball shoes feature bright orange coloring to pay homage to Orlando’s Orange County and the state’s famous oranges.

We could talk about Dwight Howard potentially wanting a trade to New Jersey, but I’d rather look at this Mehmet Okur shot that he swatted into the third row aka the uber rich people nosebleed seats.

Dwight Howard will ask the Orlando Magic to trade him to the New Jersey Nets, and a deal could go down as soon as Friday, sources close to the situation said. Howard’s representatives have already told the Nets that they are his preferred destination.

When Howard speaks to the Magic, he will tell them that he will not re-sign with the team after this season, sources said. There is also a chance that Howard will not attend the opening of training camp Friday, according to a source.

Hoping to pull off a pair of blockbuster moves that would rock the NBA, the Lakers are willing to trade anyone on their roster outside of Kobe Bryant to bring Howard and Paul to Los Angeles, two sources said.

Whether the Lakers are able to make it happen remains to be seen, but with stars Pau Gasol, Andrew Bynum and Lamar Odom on the roster, they have the talent and the financial capacity to make the trades work.

The Lakers have had cursory discussions with New Orleans about Paul within the past few days. It is not clear whether they have spoken with Orlando.

Personally I’m more of a NBA 2k man myself, but folks everywhere seem to love shooting things up in Call of Duty on the regular.

In the latest version of the game “Modern Warfare 3″ that drops today. The folks at Activision dropped a bitchin’ live action trailer called “The Vet & The n00b” featuring Sam Worthington, Jonah Hill and Dwight Howard to bring that heat Kobe Bryant brought in last years Black Ops Soldier trailer.
