Internet famous eight-month old Lazaro Pereira aka “Baby Birdman” finally got a chance to meet Chris Andersen aka Birdman for the first time. He also got a chance to meet LeBron James and Erik Spoelstra as a bonus. Baby Birdman looked pretty happy about the whole thing, but that could have been gas. It’s tough to say.

Before Chris Andersen was suspended in game 6 without for committing a flagrant foul on Tyler Hansbrough. Birdman was shooting an amazing 15-15 in games 1 through 5 and finished Game 7, going 1-3 from the field against the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference Finals. If you don’t have a calculator at your disposal, that’s 88.9% from the field for the entire series. Re-watch and respect that performance then get a few tattoos.

After months of being sidelined and then released by the Nuggets in part due to a police investigation. Chris Andersen aka Birdman has landed in Miami on a 10-day contract to provide his trademark defense, rebounding, hustle and tattoos.
“This opportunity and being with the defending champs, it’s a dream come true,” Andersen said. “They’re taking a chance with me and I’m here to give them everything I’ve got, defensively, diving on the floor, blocking shots, you know, the usual that a Birdman does and what Birdman brings.”
Last season, Andersen appeared in 32 games with Denver and averaged 5.3 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.44 blocks and 15.2 minutes while shooting 54.6 percent from the field. Miami entered Sunday ranked 29th in the 30-team NBA in rebounds per game. Welcome back Birdman.
An attorney for Chris “Birdman” Andersen says he believes the allegations that led to a search of the Denver Nuggets player’s home this week involve a spurned female fan.
Denver attorney M. Colin Bresee confirmed to The Associated Press on Friday a statement he gave to the Denver Post, saying the woman asked Andersen for “financial remuneration” after traveling to Colorado last year.
