Freshly Dipped: Li Ning BD1

Hooped Up | October 20, 2009

Baron Davis use to be a roller skatin‘, Golden State playin’, Kirilenko servin’, Reebok sportin’ dude. But things done changed and now Davis plays for the Clippers and rolls with Chinese apparel maker Li Ning.

Trying to come up in the game, Li Ning has now given Davis his very own signature model labelled the BD1 and I got to say they look ‘ight. These dandy’s will come in three colorways and should be available for coppage sooner than later, depending on where in the world you’re reading this from.

Freshly Dipped: Nike Air Max LeBron VII Family – Shanghai

Hooped Up | September 2, 2009

The Nike Air Max LeBron VII continues to blaze through China and its latest stop is in the city of Shanghai. I’m convinced that the Nike Air Max LeBron VII will never die, it’ll just multiple and get more international. With a white/green colorway inspired by LeBron’s high school, St. Vincent St. Mary’s. These shoes are a buy if you’re a sneaker head that appreciates simple details.

The shoe also contains other minimal inspirations from LeBron’s hometown. Like, a picture of Akron’s city limit sign featured on the quarter panel and on the tongue. If you live outside of China however, you’re probably S.O.L if you want to land these bad boys because they are only available at the Nike Shanghai Store and the Shanghai New World Department Store Nike Basketball Door.

More pics of the LBJ Shanghai freshness after the jump.
