The 3rd Annual Showdown In Chinatown
Hooped Up | June 30, 2010The 3rd annual Showdown In Chinatown put together by Steve Nash took place in NYC last week when he returned from his World Cup duties in South Africa for CBS Sports and as usual it looked like a blast and once again I missed out on all the football goodness (small tear).
Baller, actors, entertainers and real footy ballers like Anthony LaPaglia, Mike Quadrino, Francesco, Giovanni Iovine, Simone Sandri, Simone Motta, Brandon Jennings, Tony Parker, Giuseppe Rossi, Raja Bell, Claudio Reyna, Marc Stein, Jared Dudley, Richie Williams, Nate Robinson (who misses his Claire Bear), Jeremy Hall, Danleigh Borman, Sinisa Ubiparipovic, and Youri Djorkaeff.
Were all on hand to support the event that raises funds for The Steve Nash Foundation, and giving to charity never looked so much fun. What’s really cool about donating to this good charity, is that you can get a free t-shirt if you make a donation of $40 or more. So it’s a real win, win. Next year I plan on not missing this event — I hope.
