Like a John Woo flick, Segre Ibaka drops from the ceiling to give the basketball a home off a missed Kevin Durant shot on the entire Raptors organization, people in attendance and most notably Amir Johnson.

Yes, Ibaka is from the Congo, but he sure knows how to Samba to the hoop for nasty putbacks.

Sacramento is in no danger of making the playoffs, but they sure would like Rookie of the Year front-runner Tyreke Evans back to play out the remainder if the season.

Evans left in the fourth quarter of the Bucks vs Kings game that went to double-overtime, after he was elbowed in the mouth and had to be taken to the locker room for x-rays, where he was diagnosed with a concussion.

Evans also sustained a chipped tooth and lacerated gums. Doctors are still checking to see if he might have a broken jaw.

Reportedly Evans will not travel with the Kings to play the Clippers on Sunday as a precaution, in favor of more testing with team doctors. In 64 games this season, Evans has averaged 20.3 points, 5.6 assists and 5.2 rebounds. The Kings lost to the Bucks, 114-10.

Michael Clarke Duncan is a huge man who could probably crush a Walnut with his eye lash and he’s a Clippers fan which means dude has a lot of heart — a lot. During the Bucks vs. Clippers telecast, Mark Jackson decided to share the “dine-n-dash” tale of his good buddy MCD who happened to be sitting courtside about two seats down from Jackson.

Lets hope for ESPN’s sake that Michael Clarke Duncan has a good sense of humor because this story was hilarious but, Mark Jackson — your better than that!

It is now signed sealed and delivered with proof of the press conference and Michael Jordan is the first former player to become a majority owner of a NBA franchise after he purchased the Charlotte Bobcats from Bob Johnson for an estimated cool $275 million.

“If you had asked me 5, 10 years ago if I would be here with the opportunity to own a basketball team, I would have never believed it,” Jordan said at Time Warner Cable Arena. “Yet it’s a dream come true for me.

“I just want the city to experience what winning is all about.”

The Bobcats have lost $100 million under Bob Johnson, and Jordan hopes to turn that around to save NBA basketball in North Carolina.

Carmelo Anthony recorded 26 points and a career-high 18 rebounds to propel the Denver Nuggets past the New Orleans Hornets 93-80 on Thursday for their eighth win in nine games.

The Nuggets (47-22) established a 25-point lead at halftime and were never seriously threatened as they took over sole possession of second place in the Western Conference, moving one-half game in front of the Dallas Mavericks.

The Hornets (33-37) lost for the second time to Denver inside a week and suffered their fifth defeat in six games overall.

Detroit Pistons guard Rodney Stuckey is expected to play Friday night, two weeks after collapsing on the bench during a game.

Pistons president of basketball operations Joe Dumars says Stuckey practiced well on Thursday and expects him to play at Indiana against the Pacers. Stuckey was out of the lineup Tuesday night against Cleveland, missing his sixth straight game since he went off the court on a stretcher and was taken to a hospital during a March 5 game at Cleveland.

Doctors cleared Stuckey for exercise last week after extensive cardiac tests.

Stuckey missed two games last season after experiencing dizziness. The guard has insisted he’s not worried about the same problems happening again.
