The “Endorsed By” t-shirt features a close-up graphic of Damian over a satellite view of his hometown of Oakland, California. The “Townbiz” t-shirt is also Oakland inspired, featuring the popular local mantra and a crest with a satellite view of the city and clasped hands to represent the “Fly Guyz” – Damian’s name for his close circle of friends.
Damian Lillard is the winner of the 2012-13 Kia NBA Rookie of the Year. Which shouldn’t be a surprise if you ever watched him play.
Like Blake Griffin who won the award back in 2010-2011, Lillard was also a unanimous selection by a panel of North American sportswriters and broadcasters.
Anthony Davis and Bradley Beal finished second and third in voting respectively. Lillard finished the season with averages of 19.0 points and 6.5 assists per game.

adidas recently launched their cool new “Quick Ain’t Fair,” campaign and commercial for the Crazyquick basketball shoe. Narrated by rapper A$AP Rocky and featuring his song “Goldie,” the spot tells the tale of a mythical family of quicks comprised of John Wall (Washington Wizards), Damian Lillard (Portland Trail Blazers) and Jrue Holiday (Philadelphia 76ers) that balled wearing an advanced shoe which helped them dominate their opponents.
The keen sneakerhead already noticed the shoe on-court with Damian Lillard and the Louisville Cardinals, but today adidas officially unveiled the latest colorway of the Crazyquick dubbed the black-lead.
The new colorway features infrared laces and a black and lead upper done up in an impact camo pattern designed. The SPRINTFRAME is polished black while the flex outsole is lead with black and white highlights.
This guy is trying his best to keep Portland weird.
The Blazers’ Damian Lillard became the first rookie to win the Taco Bells Skills Challenge, defeating Jrue Holiday by 5.8 seconds in the final and earning 10 points for the Western Conference in the State Farm All-Star Saturday Night competition.
“I think the biggest thing for me was to try not to be too cool and speed through it,” Lillard said, “but take my time with the passes and shots.”
Lillard’s time of 28.8 seconds in the first round was the best of the night.
The most interesting thing about LaMarcus Aldridge hitting this money turnaround jumper to beat the Mavericks at the buzzer. Might be his teammate Nicolas Batum celebrating victory before the shot went down. Awesome.
