Stephen Curry has been sidelined with a sprained right knee since April 24, but came out blazing in Portland. Scoring a game-high 40 points, which included an NBA record 17 points in overtime to give the Warriors a commanding 3-1 series lead.

“I wanted to come back and play like myself, the best I could,” he said. “If you can’t play five minutes at that point, there’s something wrong with you. I’m pleased I had enough in the tank to finish the game, and things clicked when it mattered most.”
