Since it was founded in 1995, the Chinese Basketball Association has been making waves globally with the signing of players such as Stephon Marbury, Yi Jianlian and Emmanuel Mudiay. Arguably the second best option to the NBA due to the contracts and length of the season. The CBA is on the come up, but the team logos need an overhaul.

Enter three designers (Monkey Ben, Defendor 05 and Octopus zx) from China who feel the same and decided to take on redesigning all 20 of the Chinese Basketball Association team logos as a personal group project. Not only did they manage to give each team a new identity more consistent with current logos in sports, but they also managed to give each look a more global appeal which would go a long way to the CBA expanding their audience.
