Denver Nuggets point guard Ty Lawson absolutely torched the Lakers for 32 points and 16 assists to lead the his squad to a 106 – 96 win.
“It’s good to get that monkey off our back,” Lawson said. “We didn’t want to go into All-Star break with a seven-game losing streak, so it feels good. Everybody feels a little better, the steak’s are going to taste a little bit better for a little while, until we get back to the grind.”
The win stopped a six-game losing streak for Denver.
