Kyle Korver Named All-Star Team Replacement For Dwyane Wade

Atlanta Hawks gunner Kyle Korver was selected as the fourth player from ATL to be an all-star, after Dwyane Wade opted out of the game due to injury.

“We would like to thank Commissioner Silver for selecting Kyle as an All-Star,” Budenholzer said in a statement. “He is an integral part of our team, and we are extremely proud that Kyle will be able to join his teammates Al, Paul and Jeff in being recognized this weekend. This is a positive reflection on all of the work the entire team, coaching staff and organization has put in this season.”

Chosen by NBA Commissioner Adam Silver to make his first appearance in the mid-season classic. Korver who is enjoying one of the best shooting season of all-time joins teammates Al Horford, Paul Millsap, Jeff Teague and head coach Mike Budenholzer to represent the eastern conference.
