The defending champion San Antonio Spurs were invited by President Barack Obama to the White House in recognition of their accomplishment as a team. In return, the President was presented a Spurs number 1 jersey with the name “POTUS” on the back and a gold basketball signed by the entire Spurs team before taking pictures with the champs.
