Rudy Gay Explodes For 40 In Kings First Win

Sacramento Kings and Team USA forward Rudy Gay notched his best game since being traded by the Raptors last season. Dropping 40 points on the visiting Tail Blazers in a 103-94 victory at Sleep Train Arena. Per the SacBee:

“I was waiting for a game like this (from Gay),” said Kings coach Michael Malone. “After the game, I told the players I want to introduce them to their new teammate, Rudy Gay. Rudy was fantastic (Friday).”

Gay also grabbed 8 rebounds to help his team secure their first win of the season.
