Nooooo! Canada’s official basketball mascot is out for the year with a torn achilles. The incident occurred when “The Raptors” was performing his routine (below) during a visit to an elementary school in Halifax. The Raptors are now scrambling to find a replacement and they have little time as the season starts at the end of October. This is a sad day in mascot news my friends.
