Brandon Bass is taking swimming lesson to teach a valuable lesson to kids about never being too old to learn. Along with his 6-year-old son, Bass and 10 children from the Boys & Girls Club of Boston took their first swimming lesson this weekend.
“My son’s the first one in the family to learn how to swim,” says Bass, a 28-year-old Celtics forward. “If you threw me out in the ocean, I would drown.”
Bass says he will continue with his swimming lessons until he learns to swim. This move is off the leadership / fatherhood charts.
