Andrea Bargnani Traded to the Knicks

For better or worse. Mostly worse for New York. Andrea Bargnani has been dealt to the Knicks for Steve Novak, Marcus Camby and Quentin Richardson, (who will be signed-and-traded), a 2016 first-round pick and two second-round picks. I’m pretty sure league rules prevented the Knicks from giving away more. So at least there’s that. Bargnani seems pretty jazzed about the move.

Bargnani has two years and around $22 million remaining on his contract which would make him the fourth highest paid player on the Knicks roster and he’ll be probably coming off the bench. OMG is right! During his time in Toronto, the former number one pick in the 2006 draft has averaged 15.2 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1000 Primo pasta commercials per game over seven seasons.
