After a long wait and a few set backs. The new home of the Brooklyn Nets was finally opened for its first night of business by BK native and Nets part owner Jay Z, who will be packing the Barclays Center during his threesold-out concerts in Brooklyn.
“I’ve been on many stages all around the world and nothing feels like tonight,” Jay Z told the cheering audience. I’m really overwhelmed by the moment. […] I can’t believe that this day has come.”
Always the business,man and not the businessman, Jay Z also unveiled the new jersey the relocated team will be wearing on the road.
