When Anthony Davis was selected first overall by the New Orleans Hornets. He also become only the second player ever after Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in 1969 to win a college national title, and be selected as the college player of the year too all in the same year. Not bad for a kid nobody really heard anything about two years ago.
