Jeremy Lin Named ‘Social Breakout Player of the Year’

#Cool! Today the owner / creator of Linsanity Jeremy Lin, won the first ever NBA TV ‘Social Breakout Player of the Year’ award based on his social media rise on Facebook and Twitter this past season.

During the reign of Super Lintendo, the Harvard graduate became the first NBA player to record an average of at least 20 points and seven assists in each of his first five starts.

Plus, Lin amassed approximately 30,000 daily followers on Twitter and went from 190,000 fans to 250,000 on Sina which is the Twitter equivalent in China.
