Mickael Pietrus Ok After Scary Fall

Early indications are that Mickael Pietrus did not suffer a serious injury after taking a scary fall during last night game against the Philadelphia 76ers. Despite being taken off the court on a stretcher.

“He was a very lucky man,” Pietrus’ agent William McCandless told ESPNBoston.com, adding that Pietrus’ first question to an assistant at McCandless’ agency was who won the game.”

Pietrus did not remain in the hospital overnight, staying in a Philadelphia hotel while his team traveled back to Boston. He was cleared to fly home on Saturday to meet with the Celtics’ medical staff who confirmed with X-ray and CT scans that no abnormalities were found.
