Earl Monroe Jordache Spot Circa 1980

Speaking of Earl Monroe. Back in 1980-1981, “Jesus of North Philadelphia” had an endorsement deal with Jordache for a signature line of basketball kicks that had his most popular nickname “Pearl” near the heel. Even better than that was the commercial for the shoe. Which is pretty much the best thing ever!

Remember kids, “If you wanna make the moves, you’ve got to get the look”. However a bitchin’ beard and more spin moves than a top also helps too.

Sweet beard Earl!
