In a matter of possessions Jared Jeffries went from hero to zero and just like that, the Knicks are now in a very deep 2-0 hole in their series against the defending eastern conference champs.
Why Mike D’Antoni would go back to Jeffries guarded by Kevin Garnett in the clutch instead of Carmelo Anthony that was having his way with the Celtics like James Bond does with any of his female co-stars, is beyond me. At any rate, this was a monster defensive play by KG.
