One of my favorite players to watch Derrick Rose, has been primed for a big season since the Olympics ended with a gold medal around his neck. All summer long, Rose put in work to get better and with a points per game increase from 20.8 to 23.9, assists rise from 6 to 8.5 and a 3-point FG % bump from 26.7 to 39.1. His preseason talk about wanting to be in the MVP conversation, is starting to happen. Just don’t expect the even keeled Rose to get a big head about it, unless it’s in t-shirt form.
