Ever wonder why Kevin Durant wears the number 35? Well I have, just because the last really good player I can remember wearing that same number in the league was Reggie Lewis back in the day before he tragically passed away. Plus Kevin Durant puts the number 35 on everything like Kevin Garnett does with the number 2 as a tribute to the late Malik Sealy.
As it turns out, it was someone who didn’t play in the league that influenced Durant to wear #35 and his name was Charles Craig.
He died at the age of 35.
