Celtics Sign Delonte West, Again

Let he who hasn’t driven on the freeway with shotguns armed to the teeth on a T-Rex motorcycle, cast the first stone. Okay wait — bad example. According to my boy Will in Boston who’s wicked smart by the way. Today the Celtics signed eccentric free-agent guard Delonte West to a non-guaranteed contract for the 2010-2011 season.

Originally, the C’s drafted West after an amazing college career with St. Joseph’s taking him with the 24th pick overall in the 2004 draft. West’s best years were in Beantown where he averaged a career-high 12.2 points with 4.4 assists in 69 games during the 2006-07 season. Prior to that, West started 71 games for Boston averaging a career-best 4.6 assists and 4.1 rebounds while scoring 11.8 per game.

Good to see West back on his feet, we all deserve a few extra kicks at this crazy thing we call life. However, if you use that saying you will not be given a second chance from me and my lawyer who is almost done Law School, but I assure you — he has read the entire hardcover Law Book. Don’t mess around Hallmark!
