The long-awaited move to Brooklyn from Newark is on its way for the Nets. As of March 2009, the Nets are committed to moving to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn for the 2011–12 NBA, but as we all know this move has had its share of snags.
However with so much rich basketball history for the club that once featured a young red, white and blue ball slammin’ ABA ‘Dr.J’ in Long Island, hopefully that deadline happens.
