Following in the footsteps of Derrick Rose, who can’t talk trash while playing video games on his level. Kobe Bryant is now in the latest edition of GQ magazine. Interviewed by J.R. Moehringer and photographed by one of my favorite artists in the entire universe Terry Richardson.
Kobe had a lot of interesting things to say regarding Shaq, injuries, being famous and the ice water that runs through his veins.
“If you make it, great. If you miss it — what’s there to be afraid of?” he told writer J.R. Moehringer. Failure? If you’re afraid to fail, then you’re probably going to fail,” he says, laughing. “You know what I mean?”
The entire interview is a must read, but by far my favorite quote in the entire piece is Kobe Bryant on taking a helicopter.
“If you make $23 million a year with your body, taking a helicopter to work is actually quite practical.”
Yes, the world of Kobe Bryant is just that awesome.
