Indiana Pacers Season Preview ‘09-10
Hooped Up | October 26, 2009Another van glorious season of NBA basketball is about to begin and Hooped Up does a quick and dirty preview of all 30 clubs.
The Indiana Pacers have been steadily below average for years, but with Danny Granger emerging as a star in the league, things are finally heading in the right direction.
Unfortunately, besides Danny Granger the Pacers still don’t have enough talent to make the jump into the playoffs. It might take a trade or two for this club to fully turn it around, but they now have good citizen pieces to dangle in front of other GM’s.
Projected Starters: PG – T.J. Ford / SG – Brandon Rush / SF – Danny Granger / PF - Troy Murphy / C – Roy Hibbert
Sixth Man: Dahntay Jones
Key Reserves: Mike Dunleavy, Tyler Hansbrough, Luther Head, Earl Watson
Projected Wins: 34
Team Theme Song: The Lone Ranger Opening Theme Song
Somebody in Indiana buy Danny Granger a horse to make it official.
