Paul Rodriguez is one of the illest riders on the Nike skateboard team and he lives in L.A. Kobe Bryant is one of the illest ballers on the Nike Basketball team and he also lives in L.A.
So it’s only right that Nike decided to have their talented local worlds collide, in the latest Nike SB commercial for the release of the new Air Paul Rodriguez III signature shoe. In Kobe’s cameo appearance, P.Rod does a switch kickflip down 8 stairs while Bryant walks up them. And don’t let that one spill fool you, P.Rod can switch flip that set in his sleep.
To bad Kobe went home early to Vanessa and didn’t witness P.Rod stomping a switch trey flip down a long triple-set. Then again, I’m guessing going home to Vanessa on a daily basis also makes for a good day too.
