For the second straight year, Steve Nash and US soccer legend Claudio Reyna are teaming up for some fun in Chinatown on the soccer pitch to benefit charity. The Showdown in Chinatown is free to the public, and it all goes down on June 24 at Sarah D. Roosevelt Park in Lower Manhattan.

NBA players such as: Steve Nash (Phoenix Suns), Tony Parker (San Antonio Spurs), Jason Kidd (Dallas Mavericks), Grant Hill (Phoenix Suns), Chris Bosh (Toronto Raptors) and Raja Bell (Charlotte Bobcats) will all be in attendance displaying their football skills for charity.

Soccer pros Claudio Reyna (Former NY Red Bull), Thierry Henry (FC Barcelona), Javier Zanetti (Inter Milan), Salomon Kalou (Chelsea), Ryan Babel (Liverpool), Giovanni van Bronckhorst (Feyenoord), Mathieu Flamini (AC Milan), Ivan Cordoba (Inter Milan) and Adrian Mutu (ACF Fiorentina) will also be there.

Later that same night, an afterparty will light up the night with all proceeds going to benefit the Steve Nash Foundation and the Claudio Reyna Foundation. Tickets for the afterparty will be on sale on starting Wednesday, June 17th so get off your couch and get them now.

Below is some video from last years showdown to whet your appetite.
