The NBA Is Like A Chess Game
Hooped Up | May 8, 2009
The NBA has had some snazzy playoff spots this year and the NBA Chess commercial is another humdinger. Basketball is way more of a chess match, than you would think because creating mis-matches, changing defensive sets and manging the clock for 48 minutes are very cerebral acts. So enjoy this spot while I eat some grub and since we’re comparing the NBA to the chess world, LeBron James would be the Garry Kasparov of the league and everybody else is Deep Blue.
Yes, I am aware that Kasparov was the first world chess champion to lose to Deep Blue, but come on!
King James would never lose to a bucket of bolts.
