Hooped Up

 I’ll bet you money that Steve Nash doesn’t finish his career in a Suns uniform (like he should), but Suns GM Steve Kerr wants Nash around long enough to do exactly that.

“The Suns want to build with Steve Nash, who has one contract year left and wants to play until 2013. “He’s one of the top point guards in the league still,” Kerr said. “One of the greatest of all time. He hasn’t really shown signs of slowing down. He’s still a great player, and he’s still our guy, and he’s still the guy who makes things work for us. I want him to end his career here.”

If Steve Kerr is for real on this one, look for the Suns to add some serious fire power this summer. Mr. Kerr I’ll be watching!
