If you need more reason to head to Michigan this weekend other than the NCAA tournament. Surely the prospects of meeting the entire Fab Five cast will force you to gas up the Pacer and head over to the state whose motto is “If you seek a pleasant peninsula, look about you.” Whatever that means.
“The Fab Five — Webber, Jalen Rose, Juwan Howard, Jimmy King and Ray Jackson — were originally to be in Detroit this weekend for what was being billed as their first public reunion since they lost the 1993 N.C.A.A. title game to North Carolina.
The event was scheduled at a local casino with tickets available for $60 and $100, but the location has been shifted to a lounge and the event is now billed as “The Big Ten All-Star Celebration†for a price of $30.”
This is going to be frickin’ great!
