Michael Redd Out For The Season

If you’re a Bucks fan, with playoff aspirations for your team today you can officially start your “sad feelings” with the news out of the doctors office in Milwaukee regarding Micheal Redd leaving yesterdays game with injury.

“The Milwaukee Bucks announced that Michael Redd will miss the remainder of the season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and medial collateral ligament (MCL) in his left knee.  Redd suffered the injury in the third quarter of Milwaukee’s 106-104 victory over the Sacramento Kings last night.

“I’m deeply disappointed but everything in life happens for a reason and this is God’s plan for me,” Redd said in a statement issued by the team.

Redd was averaging a team-high 21.2 points.
