Melo Goes Iceman Hot On T’Wolves

Carmelo Anthony went off like Biz Markie on the Minnesota Timberwolves last night with a 33 point 3rd quarter to tie an NBA record set by George “The Iceman” Gervin on the final day of the 77-78 season with the San Antonio Spurs.

Melo finished with 45 points overall and the Nuggets handed the Timberwolves their seventh consecutive loss (surprise) 116-105.

Randy Whittnan dosen’t look so bad right now, huh McHale?
